A multi-ethnic girl, born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Deanna Pak has quite a unique upbringing. Her exotic look is credited to her Laotian/Thai descent with African and Spanish mix. She first stepped into the arts as a contemporary dancer and quickly became a member of the Skyline Performing Arts Academy at age 14, which led to roles in numerous plays and musicals. During her summer hiatus, she worked as a choreographer for Black Repertory Group in Berkeley, CA. In her last year with Skyline Performing Arts Academy, Pak won a dance medal and the "Outstanding Female Performance of the Year" acting award. At the age of 17, Pak moved to the beautiful Santa Barbara, CA to study philosophy and dance. After receiving a work opportunity as a promotional/print model in San Francisco, she temporarily returned to her hometown. Meanwhile, Pak studied at the American Conservatory Theatre (ACT). She then worked on local independent films, theatre, and commercial work. Through modeling and acting, Pak was selected from thousands of girls to compete in the Miss California USA Pageant, representing North Bay USA. She placed in the top 20% (out of 217+ contestants). Through this platform, Pak built strong business relationships and further opportunities to serve her community, including W.O.M.A.N., Inc. (Women Organized to Make Abuse Nonexistent) and Lifting Up Lives Organization. After the pageant, Pak moved to Los Angeles. Within months, she made her television debut in music videos on MTV and BET, followed by improvisation-based and scripted television shows. In 2015, Pak starred in her first feature film, "Prom Ride", with Omar Gooding and Hollywood's young stars. This momentum led to other roles in feature films: "E.V.P.", "Tattooed Love" , "Smosh: The Movie", and more (TBA). - IMDb Mini Biography By: Carla Matthews
